Wales started her rugby career in the UK playing the less known version of Rugby League. After moving to America in 2005 and living alone in VT, she joined the Vermont Law School team (thankfully you didn’t have to be a law student) This was her first introduction to a contact scrum and she’s never looked back! Infact she started as left side lock and refuses to play any other position in the 9 years she has been playing. She moved to Boston in 2007 and joined Charles River Women and has been playing for the team ever since. Now a 5th year E-board member, she is dedicated to keeping the old lady rats in touch with the club and ensuring that they still have their say in a club they worked so hard to create. Wales has and always will have a soft spot for this club, it’s where she has met her best friends and her soon to be wife Cassie. They will marry in June 2015.
